Generally, we like to hold our monthly meetings on a THURSDAY evening

                   —  that being the LAST Thursday in the month  — 

but from time to time this regular pattern needs to change.  

Our meetings are held at Royal Gourock Yacht Club, Ashton road, GOUROCK, PA19 1DA, commencing at 19.30 hours.

Our branch was founded in 1965 by James Pottinger, and the pictures below show our 50th anniversary lunch, held in 2015 at the Royal Gourock Yacht Club.

To mark our branch’s 60th anniversary, we held a celebratory

lunch at the yacht club in September 2025 with this large

group enjoying our meal while looking back at our branch

 history and discussing shipping topics of the present day.
