Our 27 February meeting was changed with former Chairman, Chris Bancroft, stepping into the breech. Chris gave a presentation the like we haven’t seen before with a cornucopia of images from the late Phill Fricker’s collection. Chris had spent the previous 3-4 months scanning some 400+ photos to show the Branch. None of these photos had ever been viewed before. A sunny afternoon with wall-to-wall, non-stop ships-what the Society is about! These were only part of Phil’s collection, as Chris is on a seven-year mission to digitise the whole collection.
